High Definition Big Band

Big Band jazz in Hi Def!

The High Definition Big Band is a my 17 piece jazz big band. The HD-BB includes many members of the Paris Jazz Repertoire Orchestra (1988-1993), which I co-led with Larry Gillespie. The HD-BB features an original repertoire ranging from swinging straight ahead (très original) to salsa flavored big band charts. I have written tribute tunes honoring trumpet greats Lester Bowie and Randy Brecker.

The High Definition Big Band was featured on the French Canadian TV show called Paris Bouche à Bouche this past  August on the  Evasion TV channel in Quebec.

I am also giving big band workshops so if you are interested having me do a workshop at your school or conservatory just send me an email so we can set it up.

Thank you Steve Carbonara for letting us rehearse at the American School of Modern Music.
